Scope

What I check in a WooCommerce store

  • I detect WooCommerce, the theme and caching plugins, such as LiteSpeed Cache.
  • Every 5 minutes I open a product page and add a product to the cart, a different one from the pool each time.
  • I recognise the WordPress "There has been a critical error on this website" page and never mistake it for a working page.
  • Every hour I go through guest checkout: customer details, shipping and payment selection, without placing an order (Shop Pro plan). The test with a customer account for WooCommerce is still in progress.

No. I check your store from the outside, just like a customer. You do not install anything in WordPress.

Is there a checkout test for WooCommerce?

Yes, as guest: every hour I go through the cart, customer details, shipping and payment selection, without placing an order. The test with a customer account is in progress. The checkout test is part of the Shop Pro plan.

Will the bot clutter my abandoned carts?

The test cart is an ordinary guest session. The bot identifies itself as IThandy-Checker, so you can filter it out of your statistics.
